About Us
With over 300 years of combined tank and plate structure experience, it is difficult to imagine any project that Pacific Tank & Construction can’t build. Of all tank manufacturing companies, Pacific Tank’s combined experiences range from the simplest tank to complex plate structures such as wind tunnels, thermal vacuum chambers, spheres, process vessels, wet seal and dry seal gas-holders, fermenters, and beer wells.
PT Engineering and Technical Services staff alone has over 100 years of experience in the design and details of such complex structures as TES tank, both wet seal and dry seal gas-holders, digesters, floating roofs, stacks, absorbers, standpipes reservoirs. Our engineers are well placed on the code committees at API and AWWA and have a detailed and thorough knowledge of plate structures. Complex designs requiring finite element analysis are routinely performed.
PT CADD Designers use the latest Autocad and SolidWorks computer-aided engineering and have BIM modeling experience.
PT Field Foremen have experience constructing complex plate structures such as thermal vacuum chambers, towers, absorbers, carbon, and stainless steel and aluminum spheres. Pacific Tank is constantly using creativity to improve delivery models while maintaining an industry-leading safety culture.
PT’s TES Tank Diffuser Systems are inherently robust and tunable to meet exacting performance criteria. The heart of the diffuser is a slotted pipe that allows the water to enter the tank creating a minimum disturbance of the water stored thereby minimizing the thermocline depth. The diffuser can easily be dismantled and removed thru the tank manholes for maintenance or modification. The diffuser can be easily fabricated of stainless steel for long life and reduced maintenance.
Pacific Tank announces the completion of Phase II with four tanks for the storage of palm oil in the Port of Stockton.
Total storage capacity is 12 million gallons.
